Swatches!

Inspiration

For this assignment I looked at many different patterns before deciding to make a color swatch of an interesting pattern on a dress I own. I really liked the colors on the dress as they were close to each other but all slightly different.



Swatches
I took inspiration from this photograph and created three different color swatches. I really liked the dark brown color that was found in small sections of the pattern and also the different shades of purple used so I picked these as my first three colors. Then, from these color swatches, I changed the tints to create two different color swatches for each of the main colors from the dress.





Nameplates
I chose a simple but professional font for my nameplates that I kept consistent through all. My favorite nameplate is the middle because I really like the contrast of the light font against the dark background. I really enjoyed this assignment and like how the nameplates turned out.
